“Are you doing THE Ironman?”

“Hey Man, what are yeah doing? Running and now jumping in the water? Are You an Ironman?“ “Yes, I am. It’s my second start in Kona, last Year I had my debut.”Die entspannte Plauderei am Pier nimmt ihren Lauf auf der ganz privaten Showbühne am Pier von Kailua-Kona.

Neue Helmregularien in Kona

Hinweis: Alle Helme, die den ITU (International Triathlon Union) genügen sind erlaubt. Details unter der News vom 10. Oktober. Anbei zum Verständnis die alte News vom 29. September.

Was ist erlaubt?

Komplette Liste? Fehlanzeige!
CPSC auf Anfrage von 3athlon.de nach einer komletten Liste für die USA kann auch nicht weiterhelfen: "Unfortunately, we do not keep such a list. The manufacturers are required to have the test results available if the CPSC ask to see them, but they are not required to automatically mail them in to the CPSC."

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission does not make any list available to us. The best source, and the one we use, is the website Helmets.org. That site has a comprehensive list of all helmets manufactured but is not always clear whether the helmet is a CPSC approved one."

Was ist denn eigentlich 'Honl's'?
